Should anyone lose sleep over the suffocating stench enveloping the Nigerian political space? Definitely No. As things turn out, is Nigeria worth dying for? The answer lies in the wind of change that will eventually consume the concoction being brewed by the politicians who are adamant that money answers all things.
How can any effort to trace and punish corrupt politicians in custody of our stolen common wealth, still prowling to sink their teeth deep on what remains of the carcass of the wealth of the nation, with strict impartiality, without fear or favour, succeed, with the scenario unfolding in Bayelsa State, where the All Progressives Congress is fielding a governorship candidate, an ex-governor, who has not purged himself of the atrocities perpetrated while in office?
Let us not deceive ourselves, Nigerians will vote any party well-oiled with stolen oil wealth from oil wells into power.
