President Muhammadu Buhari is at it again. This time, he is saying everywhere that Nigeria is broke and that former President Goodluck Jonathan and the Peoples Democratic Party are responsible.
Recall that the same Buhari was reported to have said sometime in the past that the late Gen. Sani Abacha was not corrupt and yet Abacha is listed as the fourth most corrupt person in history. Eighty per cent of the oil blocks in Nigeria are said to be owned by northerners yet Buhari sees Jonathan as the only “corrupt” leader to have ruled Nigeria.
Buhari should leave Jonathan alone and govern the country the citizens asked him to do by giving him their mandate.
